Where Music Has Attitude

The Road to Lightnin’ Stik Productions

To date, I’ve completed and released over 20 original singles, with three new singles in 2025 alone. These releases reflect my growth as both a songwriter and a vocal performer as well as a music producer. You can find these songs on major digital platforms including Spotify and Apple Music.

I highly recommend that you listen to my latest single, “Play That Kick Ass.” This track best reflects my current sound, production quality, and overall artistic abilities, just before I venture into a darker and harder genre over coming years.

The Vision …

In the Beginning …

“Twenty years ago, I was just a kid when a Les Paul lit my eyes up with a fire for a vision bigger than I could explain. That photo — that moment — wasn’t just about music. It was the first glimpse of a path I knew I had to walk.

Life is Good! Xxtremely addicted to Cherry, my Les Paul and Mashall amp/cab combo.

That kid with the Les Paul — wide-eyed, raw, and burning with vision — didn’t just dream of rock. He became it. That photo, taken twenty years ago, doesn’t just show a young musician. It shows the birth of a path. What started as hunger turned into hustle. That wise-eyed kid grew into XXtremeFiend Records — a label forged out of pure grit and underground energy.

Xxtremefiend Records

XXtremeFiend gave sound to the unheard.
It was never about fitting in — it was about breaking out. We didn’t wait for permission. We created our own lane, releasing raw, emotional, and unapologetic rock n roll. Like when we took Roxxie Vine into the studio to record “Little Angel” — we just scraped all of the coins from under ever body’s car seats to pay to studio for a real demo so the radio station would play the song Rick wrote. We never took no as an answer, we just found another way to make it happen.

Roxxie Vine (live Performances) – While we had the audio perfected back then, it took a bit to work around the camera mics .

Roxxie Vine wasn’t always easy to work with, but they were flawless on stage and laid down pristine tracks in the studio for the release of “Little Angel” written by Rick.

As time moved, so did the mission.
XXtremeFiend Records evolved into Lightnin’ Stik Productions — a next-generation platform with the same fire for live production media, now supercharged with purpose that is soon to become LimLink. It’s not just about making music. It’s about building a fully independent ecosystem where real artists can own their work, connect with fans, and spark a genuine cultural reset.

When met with the Pandemic, Rick used his free time to accelerate his own career by writing and releasing a number of original hard rock tunes. One song, “Words” caught the attention of several music critics. Breaking and Entering. The Musical Hype. New in Music.

This isn’t a phase. This is my life.
Lightnin’ Stik is the legacy of that first spark — now fully realized, weaponized, and wide open to anyone still chasing something real. From basement studios to digital stages, from cassette tape dreams to tokenized futures — it all started with a guitar, a kid, and a fire that never went out.
